Why are these so expensive?

Each brush should last you 8-12 weeks, which works out to be less than $3 per month.

But here's what you're really paying for:

Zero health compromises and genuine natural plastic free materials that don't shed toxins.

Think of it as health insurance that costs less than one cheap servo-coffee per month.

What's the price of NOT making this swap?

How long does each toothbrush last?

Like any normal toothbrush, dentists recommend you replace your toothbrush every 2-4 months with proper hygeine use.

How are the bristles sourced?

We work closely with suppliers to ethically source our bristles in the same way hair brush manufacturers do. Some hairs are taken from the animals during their upbringing, but most are up-cycled from animals already processed for food. No animals are harmed specifically for bristles; it's a byproduct that would otherwise go to waste.

Is it perfect? No. But here's what we're facing: it's the only truly plastic-free toothbrush option available. Every plastic brush you use sheds microplastics into oceans, poisoning marine life and entering our food chain. Hundreds of millions end up in landfills annually, leaching toxins for centuries.

We're not contributing to animal agriculture – we're repurposing waste that already exists. Until the world stops eating meat, there will be a surplus of boar hair. We believe using it is better than creating more plastic pollution that harms countless animals and ecosystems.

How are the bristles sterilised?

Our natural bristles are treated using a strict, multi-stage high-temperature sterilization process. The hair is thoroughly scoured, washed, and disinfected by boiling and steaming at 100°C for 6 hours.

This strict thermal cleaning removes all biological matter, guaranteeing the bristles are completely sterile, hygienic, and odorless for safe use.

Will the bamboo get mouldy?

We prevent mould using a rigorous steam carbonization process. The raw bamboo is heat-treated up to 300°C in a specialized oven. This intense thermal treatment completely sterilizes the wood, eliminating all mold spores and bacteria. It also removes the internal sugars and starches that attract mold and insects, making the handles highly water-resistant and ensuring long-term durability.

How hard are the bristles?

Choose boar bristle if you like a medium-firm bristle toothbrush for a thorough cleaning experience

Choose horse bristle if you prefer a softer bristle toothbrush for a gentle cleaning experience.

Whats your return policy?

You have 60 days to return the product if its not for you. We doubt you'll want to go back to plastic, however if its not for you; return for a full refund (Less than 1% of customers ask for refunds because they're done with microplastics)

Bad News About Your Toothbrush...

Most Toothbrushes are a Chronic Source of Microplastic Exposure

Not enough people talk about this: 99% of toothbrushes are made with nylon bristles

Nylon is plastic

And when you grind them against your teeth every time you brush; nylon bristles break down and shed microplastics into your mouth, digestive pathways, and bloodstream.

These plastic particles accumulate in your body over time.

Big brands know this but they don't care.

You've Been Brushing With Plastic for Years

Twice daily. 365 days a year. For how many years now?

Thousands of micro-and-nano-plastic particles into your mouth, digestion, bloodstream and organs.

Your kids too.

But its not your fault. Nobody thought about it until recently when all the research on plastic and human biology started emerging.

"But I Use a Bamboo Toothbrush!"

Bamboo toothbrushes 'eco-friendly' not 'human-biology-friendly'.

And while they DO reduce plastic landfill...they DO NOT fix the microplastic-in-your-body problem.

Because most bamboo toothbrushes still use the same bristles as regular toothbrushes (nylon).

Bamboo handle with plastic bristles.

You're still exposed to microplastics.

Microplastics Accumulate in Your Body...

An overwhelming amount of research now shows that microplastics bio-accumulate in your blood and organs.

Scientists are finding them them in blood, lungs, reproductive organs, brain tissue, and more.

Long-term effects are still unknown.

...But do you want to keep adding more?

...Do you want to be the case study?

Stop the cycle now.

Good news: You Can Eliminate This Source of Microplastic Exposure Today

Introducing...The TOXIN DODGER Microplastic-Free Toothbrush

The first recorded toothbrushes in human history were made using boar and horse hairs (plastic did not exist) weaved into bone (eek).

Its time to return to natural oral care - but we've replace the bone for bamboo of course.

No nylon. No microplastics. Cleans just as well without feeding you plastic.

FAQS

Natural Bristle Toothbrush FAQs

What's so bad about plastic toothbrushes?

Plastic toothbrushes use nylon bristles made from petroleum.

They contain BPA, PFAS, and hormone disruptors.

Every time you brush, microplastic fragments break off and you swallow them.

Studies show people ingest thousands of microplastic particles yearly, with toothbrushes being a major source.

Plus nylon bristles damage enamel and cause gum recession. One billion plastic toothbrushes hit US landfills annually Alone.

What are your toothbrushes made of?

We have two versions: Pure boar hair bristles, or pure horse hair bristles....both weaved into a sustainable bamboo handle.

Zero plastic. Zero nylon. Zero BPA, Phthalates, or PFAS.

No harsh industrial chemicals are used.

How are bristles sterilized?

High-pressure steam at 120°C kills all bacteria and pathogens. No synthetic chemicals needed.

Then we soak them in mild hydrogen peroxide - the same disinfectant used in food and medical settings.

Finally, thorough rinsing and high-temperature drying.

Result: clean, natural bristles with zero toxic residues.

No bleach or industrial chemicals ever used.

Are These Suitable for kids?

Yes, for ages 6 and up.

Actually far safer than plastic brushes. No EMFs like electric toothbrushes emit near developing brains.

No toxic chemicals or microplastics. Natural boar bristles are gentler than harsh nylon.

Many parents report reduced gum sensitivity and bleeding after switching from plastic brushes. For younger kids, try our horse bristle version - even softer.

How long do they last?

Two to four months per brush - same as any quality toothbrush.

But unlike plastic bristles that fray and shed microplastics, natural bristles maintain integrity.

Our bamboo handles dry fast thanks to the water-repellent seal at the base.

This prevents mould and extends lifespan beyond other bamboo brushes.

Each 4-pack will last 8-12 months for one person with proper maintenance.

What if I don't like them?

Every purchase is backed by a 60 day return policy. If you don't love it, we'll refund you completely. Less than 1% of customers ask for refunds. We're confident you'll prefer cleaning your teeth without swallowing plastic. But if natural bristles aren't for you and you'd prefer to return to grinding plastic into your mouth...we'll give you your money back and pray for you. No questions asked.
