Will it fit my Philips Sonicare?
If your current head clicks straight onto the metal shaft without twisting, ours fits. That covers most Sonicare click-on handles (ProtectiveClean, DiamondClean, ExpertClean, Healthy White, FlexCare, 2 and 3 Series and more). It doesn't fit Philips One or screw-on handles. Is it really plastic-free?
No, and we won't pretend it is. The bristles are natural horse hair and the head is bamboo, so nothing plastic touches your mouth. Inside there's a small food-safe core that gives the head the strength and click-fit an electric motor needs. Other brands quietly use one too and call themselves "100% plastic-free." We'd rather tell you the truth: no microplastics where it matters, in your mouth.
Do natural bristles survive an electric brush?
Yes. Horse hair is springy and holds up to the vibration. Leave the small gap between head and handle (it's normal) so the motor transfers properly, and rinse the bristles under warm water before the first brush to soften them.
The bristles shed a little at first.
A few bristles may shed in the first week or two as the bamboo acclimates to your bathroom's humidity. Completely normal, completely harmless, and it stops quickly.
How often do I replace it?
Every 6-12 weeks, in line with dentist guidance. Four heads a box is roughly a year for one person.
How are the bristles sourced and cleaned?
We ethically source horse hair the way hairbrush makers do, mostly up-cycled from animals already processed for food. No animal is harmed for bristles. They're then boiled and steamed sterile, leaving them hygienic and odourless.

Every electric toothrbrush head is made from Dupont nylon bristles on a plastic mount. Those bristles flex against your enamel thousands of times a minute and shed micro and nano plastics the whole time. You don't see it, but it ends up in your saliva, digestion and bloodstream (your gums are highly absorbant)

Bamboo head. Natural horse-hair bristles where your mouth touches. And inside, a small food-safe plastic core, because an electric motor needs something strong enough to hold the click-fit and survive the vibration.
That core never touches your gums. The bristles do, and they're natural, so there are no microplastics in your mouth. That's the part that matters for your health.
Other brands say “100% plastic-free” and stay very quiet about what clicks their head onto your handle. We use the smallest core we can, and we tell you.

Oral-B handles use a round push-on head with an entirely different fitting. Our heads are made for the Philips Sonicare or Sonicare compatible click-on shaft heads only - they will not attach to any Oral-B.

We were pregnant with our first when we fell down the rabbit hole. Reading the studies on microplastics. Watching how much chronic disease there was around us, in family, in friends. Are they vegan?+
No. Natural horse hair, a byproduct of the food industry. We're honest about it. The only alternative is plastic, which sheds microplastics into your mouth. We chose the option that doesn't.
How do I attach it?+
Align the head with the handle shaft and press firmly until it stops. A small gap between head and handle is normal and needed for the motor to transfer properly.
Can I use it on any electric brush?+
Only Philips Sonicare click-on handles (see the fit section above). Not Oral-B, not Philips One, not screw-on handles.
Why is there any plastic in it at all?+
Electric brushing needs a strong core to hold the click-fit and survive the motor. Ours is a small food-safe core, internal, and nothing plastic touches your mouth.
How do I dispose of a worn head?+
Pull the bristles, compost the small bamboo neck. Far less to throw away than a whole brush.
