QUICK ANSWERS
The questions we get most.
Don't have a Toxin Dodger handle yet?
These are replacement heads only. If you're new, start with the starter kit: aluminium handle, two heads and a stand.
How long does each head last?
6-12 weeks, in line with dentist recommendations. A box of 5 lasts roughly a year.
How do I swap the head?
Unscrew the old head, screw the new one on hand-tight. No tools, takes ten seconds.
Soft or firm, which do I pick?
Horse is soft, best for sensitive gums and recession. Boar is firm, best for plaque-led routines. See "Which bristle should I get?" below. The mix box gives you both.
Will these fit my brush?
They fit every Toxin Dodger aluminium handle. They do not fit the bamboo brush or any electric handle.
What's your return policy?
90-day returns, no questions.
Which bristle should I get?
The right bristle is the one you'll actually use twice a day. Here's how to choose.
Boar bristle.
Coarser, springy, holds shape. Closest feel to a medium-strong nylon brush. Best for plaque-led routines.
You currently use a medium-firm nylon brush, you brush before bed and want to feel the clean, or you've never had recession.
Horse bristle.
Finer, more flexible, gentler on the gum line. Closest feel to a medium-soft nylon brush. Best for sensitive routines.
Your dentist has flagged recession, you bleed when flossing, or you've always reached for soft-bristled brushes.
No handle yet? Start with the kit.
These heads screw onto the Toxin Dodger aluminium handle. New to the brush? The starter kit has the handle, two heads and a stand. Everything else stands alone, buy any combination.
